There are three kinds of people in this world. One who is trying hard to survive in this world, the world of poverty. The other part who lives lavishly and is busy in making himself/herself handsome/lovely and always seek for unnecessary pleasure. And the third one, I need not say but still let me specify here... the majority of the people like us.
And in this great old city called Kolkata, I found streets bustling with busy people engaged in their job. Seeing them you can find that most of them are mostly hardworking, poverty stricken and surviving hard to live a life! Dressed in rags and I wonder whether they ever took bath with hair all tusseled and faces all smeared.
Morning market will be filled with chinese people with hawkers and old clothes seller, vegetables etc. But its the morning freshair which everyone enjoy. By around 9 again the air will be dense with dust making the visibility unclear and breathing suffocating.
You can hear people bargaining over things they are purchasing and hens crying since they are to be slaughtered for some people's greedy meal. Its really such a pity seeing such a sight.
While returning home with one of our small worker from our shop, I had a conversation with him which will remain etched in my heart forever. There I saw a rich kid with clean clothes riding a huge sports bike and speaking in his cell, I asked the worker, " You like riding, Do you know how to ride?" not knowing that it meant something more to him then just a normal question. He sighed and seeing a kid of his age with that look and maturity makes you wonder "How?" and he said me few words which still ring in my ears whenever I remember his face. He said some people are lucky to be born rich, that boys dad was rich .. so, whatever he is having right now is because his father was rich and he is enjoying and I am born to a poor family and I have accepted the truth and work hard to live my life as it is. If you are a rickshaw drivers son, then its quite obvious you will become one. So, we should learn to take life as it is and always feel grateful and lucky for wat god has granted us. God decides how we are born but we should decide how we want to live!
May god bless this boy forever!
